Lunds and Byerlys Kitchen is a fantastic new 17,000-square-foot kitchen prototype focused on freshly prepared foods and beverages. Located at 250 Superior Boulevard, Wayzata on the lower level of The Promenade which features 130,000 square feet of retail space and also will have 250 senior housing units.

The Kitchen is a mix between a restaurant and a grocery store and features a wine & beer bar, dining and grab & go options. Upon entry of the restaurant area, you will find ample seating (seats 143) and each table has its own iPad which is used for ordering, paying your tab, and entertaining the kids with games.  The seasonal menu features grilled items, brick oven pizzas, cheese & charcuterie, sushi, kids menu, sweets, and a gluten free section  (we love this!). In the store area you will find large selections of chilled beverages, snack foods, frozen goods and necessity items (milk, eggs, bread). There is also a variety of fresh produce, an extensive candy/bulk station, gourmet spices and fancy condiments. Customers also have the ability to shop online and pick up their groceries from a designated locker at a later time.

The bar area features 10 local craft beers from Surly Brewing , Lucid Brewing, Summit Brewing, Badger Brewing, Lift Bridge Brewing, Harriet Brewing, Excelsior Brewing, and Fulton Brewing.  They also carry over 65 different wines, 30 of which are available by the glass. There is also Caribou coffee located within the Kitchen; this Caribou is the first location in Minnesota to roast their beans on-site.

The Sarenpa Team of Keller Williams has made many trips since it opened, in fact on opening day, March 6th Tony and Shane went for lunch and the following day invited Anthony and Nicole to join in. Both times everyone came back raving about the great experience and the delicious food. I know we will be taking full advantage of the Lunds and Byerlys Kitchen, it is a great foodie experience as you can find something for everyone.  We love welcoming new restaurants to the Wayzata area, it’s truly a fun concept!
